# Types of Visas for Immigrating to the United States

## 1. Family-Based Visas

- This type of visa allows US citizens and legal permanent residents to sponsor close family members to immigrate to the United States.
- This includes spouses, children, parents, and siblings.

## 2. Employment-Based Visas

- These visas are available to individuals who have a job offer from a US employer.

## 3. Diversity Visa

## 5. Investment Visas

- These visas are available to individuals who make significant investments in the US economy.
- The most common investment visa is the EB-5 visa, which requires a minimum investment of $900,000 and the creation of at least 10 full-time jobs.
