# What are the requirements for obtaining an EB-1 visa as an individual with extraordinary ability in the arts?

To obtain an EB-1 visa as an individual with extraordinary ability in the arts, you must meet specific requirements set forth by United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).

First, you must provide evidence that you have sustained national or international acclaim in your field of arts, which must be demonstrated through documentation that includes, but is not limited to, awards, publications, exhibitions, and critical reviews.

Second, you must demonstrate that you have achieved a level of expertise indicating that you are one of a small percentage of individuals who have risen to the top of your field of arts.

Third, you must show that by entering the United States to continue working in your field of arts, you will substantially benefit the country.

If you meet these requirements, you may be eligible for an EB-1 visa as an individual with extraordinary ability in the arts.

There are some limitations and exceptions to these requirements. For example, if you are an artist who has not yet reached the height of your career but is considered to have extraordinary ability, you may still be eligible for an EB-1 visa if you provide satisfactory evidence of your achievements and potential.
