# What are my legal options if my business partner is embezzling funds from our company in Georgia?

If a business partner is embezzling funds from a company in Georgia, legal options include:

1. File a complaint with law enforcement: Embezzlement is a criminal offense in Georgia, and the embezzling partner could face criminal charges and penalties. The company should collect evidence of the embezzlement, such as bank statements and accounting records, and file a complaint with the local police or district attorney's office.
