# How should a business owner handle a customer injury that occurred on the business property?

As a business owner, it is important to take immediate action and handle any customer injury that occurs on your business property. Here are the steps you should take:

1. Seek Medical Assistance: If the injury is serious, call 911 for emergency medical assistance. If the injury is not severe, offer first aid and ask if the customer requires additional medical assistance.
2. Gather Information: Collect information from the injured customer, including their name, phone number, email address, and a description of the injury.
3. Document the Incident: Create a written report of the incident, including the date, time, location of the injury, and any witnesses to the event. Take photographs of the area where the injury occurred and any contributing factors, such as a spill or obstacle.
4. Notify Insurance Company: Report the injury to your insurance company and provide them with the documentation you have collected.
5. Communicate with the Customer: Contact the injured customer and express your concern for their well-being. Explain your intention to investigate the incident and address any issues that may have contributed to the injury.
